Fork Extensions

Fork Extensions are devices that fit over a standard pair of forks on a forklift truck, for the sole purpose of temporarily lengthening the forks for load stabilization only. 

WHEN USING FORK EXTENSIONS GREAT CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE USED FOR STABILIZING PURPOSES ONLY (NOT FOR CARRYING THE LOAD) AND SHOULD NOT EXCEED MORE THAN 1/3 OF THE FORK BLADE LENGTH.

Note!  It is important that the  load on the fork extension is uniform and that it is not carried without full support of the appropriate fork.
